Wiring requirements and specifications for air switches in distribution boxes

1, the general switch of the household distribution box can generally choose double-pole 32-63A small air switch or isolation switch.


2、Lighting circuits generally use 10-16A small air switches.


3、Socket circuits generally choose 16-20A air switches.


4. air conditioning circuits generally choose 16-25A air switches.


5, the use of bipolar or 1P + N (phase + neutral) air switch, when the line has a short circuit or leakage fault, should immediately cut off the phase and neutral lines of the power supply to ensure personal safety and the safety of electrical equipment. The above air switch installation is for reference only, the actual power of electrical appliances in each household is not the same, the specific design of the electrician shall prevail.


When the air switch is a three-phase switch, to figure out whether the incoming line is a three-phase circuit. If it is determined to be two-phase, it should be zero wire to zero wire, ground wire to the shell, fire wire casually connected to a can. Generally each air conditioner is divided into a separate circuit, the kitchen and health outlets are divided into a separate circuit, the rest of the outlets can be divided into one or two circuits depending on the situation, and all the lighting can also be divided into one or two circuits. It is expected that a 20 amp air switch can be used for the outlet circuits of high power appliances, otherwise a 16 amp air switch is sufficient.




First, Operating conditions and site preparation



1、The box is installed.


2, the box air switch, wiring conductors, wiring ties, etc. have been prepared, and in line with the design drawings, distribution box installation requirements.



Second, the box body guide rail installation



The guide rail should be installed horizontally and matched with the cover air-opening operation hole



Third, the installation of the empty open inside the box



1, the first thing to pay attention to when the installation of the empty open box cover open installation hole location, to ensure that the open position in the box cover reserved position. Secondly, the switches should be arranged from left to right when installed, and the reserved position of the switch should be a whole position.


2, the reserved position is generally placed on the right side of the distribution box. The first row of total open air and sub-open air between a complete bit reserved for the first row of open air wiring.



Fourth, the null open zero line wiring



1, zero line color to use blue.


2, lighting and socket circuits generally use 2.5mm2 wire, the number of cavity openings in series per wire shall not be greater than 3. Air conditioning circuit generally uses 2.5mm2 or 4.0mm2 wire, a wire with a cavity.


3, the zero line between different phases shall not be shared, such as the first yellow wire connected by the A phase with two 16A lighting open air, then the A phase with the zero line can only match the two open air, with the finished direct side to the zero line terminals.


4, the box body between the total open and each sub-vacuum wiring generally go to the left, distribution boxes out of the line generally go right then.


5, the box wiring to straight no grain connection phenomenon, the wire should be tied with plastic ties, the size of the ties should be appropriate, the spacing should be uniform.


6, wire bending should be consistent, and no dead bend to prevent damage to the wire insulation and internal copper core.



Five, the first row of empty open wiring



1, A-phase line is yellow, B-phase line is green, C-phase line is red.


2, lighting and socket circuits generally use 2.5mm2 wire, the number of cavity connected to each wire shall not be greater than 3. Air conditioning circuit generally uses 2.5mm2 or 4.0mm2 wire, a wire with an open.


3, by the total switch of each phase of each wire between the zero line shall not be shared, such as the first yellow wire from the A phase connected to two 16A lighting open air, the two lighting open air side zero line is only from the two open air side directly connected to the zero line terminals.


4, the box body between the total open and the sub-vacuum open wiring generally go left, distribution boxes out of the line generally go right then.
